Pilates Equipment

Pilates exercises address physical issues, rehabilitate injuries, strengthen and tone core muscles, improve balance, mental concentration and breathing while increasing flow, coordination and whole body strength. In sessions you will work on Pilates equipment to achieve your goals.

In studio you will work on the reformer, Cadillac, chair, barre, mat, springboard and TRX. For online Equipment work, email me for a list of props and equipment sources.

Book sessions in studio or online:

  • Solo (single person)

  • Duets (two people).

    * If you don’t have a pair to start and want to book a Duet Session, after an initial session, you can be paired with another.

“Engaging Julie Marques as my Pilates instructor was one of the best health care decisions I could have made for myself.  After some minor injuries from other types of exercise, I was searching for a way to  strengthen my body and enhance my fitness in a thoughtful and effective way.  Not only is Julie an experienced Pilates instructor; she is an expert in body movement and body mechanics and has a wealth of anatomical knowledge allowing her to guide her students effectively and offer multiple modifications to meet individual's needs. On top of that she is a lovely human being and her positive encouragement makes me look forward to the next session. After working with her for nearly a year, I see  my body changing in subtle but significant ways and I feel physically better than I have in a decade. Thanks Julie!”
